This is the first stop Fuente stayed longer than 3 years


They clear the decks and a lot of recruits join the program in year 1 and 2. But there's no track record of whether he can keep a program sustaining itself.

The CEO approach means they're going to have to expand the support staff and build up a more permanent Virginia Tech presence among the coaching staff.

Suspect it's very difficult to woo coaches who stay 5 or more years at the same program. Have to be careful with getting coaches out of the region as they're constantly looking to get back "home".
